What is a Komodo diving package?
A Komodo diving package is a pre-priced multi-day bundle including 6-18 dives from a Labuan Bajo speedboat, accommodation in town, marine park fees, gear rental and transfers — sold in 3D2N, 5D4N or 7D6N tiers ranging from USD 595 to USD 1,895 per diver depending on certification level and accommodation grade.

Tier 1 — 3D2N Quick Dive Package
Six dives over two operational boat days, slotted between airport arrival on day 1 and a half-day departure on day 3. The 3D2N package targets the time-poor traveller — a Singapore weekender, a Bali stop-over upgrade, or a corporate diver banking annual leave thoughtfully.
Day Structure
- Day 1: LBJ airport pickup (15 min to town), hotel check-in by 14:00, walk-to-dive-shop briefing and gear fit at 16:00, welcome dinner at the harbour.
- Day 2: 06:30 boat departure, three dives at Sebayur (warm-up, 16m), Mawan (manta possibility, 18m), Tatawa Kecil (current drift, 20m). Return harbour 16:30, hotel rest, dinner.
- Day 3: 06:30 boat departure, three dives at Batu Bolong (signature pinnacle, 25m), Siaba Besar (turtle gardens, 14m), Pink Beach (gentle reef, 12m). Return 14:00, shower, hotel checkout, airport transfer for evening flight.
Open Water divers with at least 10 logged dives within 24 months can complete this tier comfortably. Currents at Tatawa Kecil and the Cauldron are tier-rated 3/5 — divers above will skip Tatawa Kecil for Tatawa Besar’s gentler 12m reef.
3D2N Inclusions
- Six dives, 1:4 dive-guide ratio, 15L aluminium tanks (12L on request).
- Full BCD, regulator with octopus, 5mm wetsuit, mask/fins/snorkel, dive computer, SMB.
- Hotel — 2 nights at a 3-star superior property in central Labuan Bajo (Sylvia Komodo Resort, Plataran Komodo or equivalent class).
- Marine park fees (IDR 250,000/day foreign rate), port tax, conservation levy.
- Airport transfers both ways, daily harbour transfers.
- Light breakfast at hotel, hot lunch on boat (rice + vegetables + protein), hotel dinner.

Tier 2 — 5D4N Signature Package
Twelve dives over four operational boat days. This is our most-booked tier and the sweet spot for AOW-certified divers who want the full Komodo arc — north pinnacles, central reef, south manta cleaning stations — without committing to a full week.
Day Structure
- Day 1: LBJ pickup, hotel check-in, refresher dive at Sebayur 16:00 if requested (USD 65 add-on).
- Day 2: Central sites — Batu Bolong, Mawan, Tatawa Besar.
- Day 3: North pinnacles (AOW required) — Castle Rock, Crystal Rock, the Cauldron (Shotgun).
- Day 4: South sites — Manta Alley (seasonal), Pillarsteen, Pink Beach.
- Day 5: Surface interval activity (Padar sunrise hike or Rinca dragon trek), afternoon checkout dive at Sebayur, evening farewell dinner.
- Day 6: 24-hour flight-buffer leisure morning, hotel breakfast, airport transfer.
5D4N Inclusions
- Twelve dives across four boat days, same gear and ratio as Tier 1.
- Hotel — 4 nights at a 4-star property with pool and hillside or sea view.
- Optional Padar sunrise speedboat (06:00 departure, 250m hike) — USD 35/pax included on day 5 when group of 4+.
- Two boat lunches enhanced with grilled fish and salad bar.
- Marine park, port and conservation fees for all four boat days.

Tier 3 — 7D6N Atlas Explorer
Eighteen dives across six operational boat days. The premium tier for instructor-led groups, photographers running the same site under different tide phases, and AOW divers chasing every site in the park including the southern outliers requiring early-morning long-range transits.

- Day 1: LBJ arrival, gear check, welcome dinner.
- Day 2: Central sites (Batu Bolong, Mawan, Tatawa Besar).
- Day 3: North sites round 1 (Castle Rock, Crystal Rock, Cauldron).
- Day 4: South sites round 1 (Manta Alley, Pillarsteen, Three Sisters).

What’s Excluded — Be Honest With Yourself

- International flights to Labuan Bajo (LBJ). Wings Air, Citilink, Batik Air from Bali (DPS) or Jakarta (CGK).
- Travel insurance — DAN Asia Pacific or World Nomads Diver Pro recommended, USD 60-110 for the trip.
- Visa on arrival if applicable, USD 35.
- Alcohol at hotel and tips for crew (suggested USD 10-15/diver/day for crew).
- Cash for the dragon trek photographer at Rinca (IDR 50,000) and personal souvenirs.
- Single-supplement room cost for solo travellers wanting their own room.
Group Booking Discounts
Dive shops or instructor-led groups of 6+ divers receive 8% discount on Tier 2 and 12% on Tier 3, with the trip leader’s package complimentary on groups of 10+. We’ve handled groups from PADI 5-Star centres in Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney and Berlin — references on request.
Booking Process
Step 1 — Email bd@juaraholding.com with dates, certification level, group size and tier preference. Step 2 — We respond within 12 hours with availability, hotel pairing and detailed quote. Step 3 — 30% deposit secures the speedboat slot and hotel; balance 21 days before arrival. Step 4 — 14 days before, we confirm marine park reservation and send arrival pack with WhatsApp group of fellow divers and crew.

Peak season (June-September, late December) tightens 8-12 weeks ahead. Manta-chasing season (January-March) tightens 4-6 weeks ahead. Mid-season shoulder windows (April-May, October-November) often have last-minute availability with the same dive sites and quieter boats.
